Chiredzi’s talented gospel singer Claitos Mkoka (32), will release a fresh song titled ‘Daniel Huma’, under the banner of Basepower production, on 8, July 2023.
In an attempt to make a number, he had featured in terrific voices of Khensani Maluleke and Pastor Makhiri, South African gospel singers with wide fan base.
Claitos, said the carol is a stolen leaf from the biblical story of Daniel, who have been casted in a den of lions, and came out whole due to unwavering faith in God.
He further mentioned that in ‘Daniel Huma’, his intent is to encourage christians to exercise faith in unfailing God, when encircled by beacons of circumstances.
“When days are dark, trust in God. For, it is written that God’s power takes place when human power ceases to function,” Claitos made clear.
Speaking about his musical journey, Claitos, who stays and works in Pretoria, said he started singing a decade ago at Don’t Blame God lnternational Ministry.
“lt is the burning love of worshiping my creator which inspired me to sing,” he said, while stating that he started recording his music at Truelife Studio, 2021.
To date, the born again gospel chanter had successful recorded four single tracks (plus the upcoming song): Byela Yesu, Hi Masiku Hikwawo and Kupfumela, all meant to stimulate faith in God, in times of hardships.
He concluded saying he had been tempted to give up on his musical career due to financial glitches, however, staying positive and believing in God made his alma mater dream come true.
